Workforce Scholarship Fund

You can make a difference! It is through the generous support from individuals and businesses that we are able to offer workforce scholarships to individuals in need of training. The Workforce Scholarship Fund helps increase the income of residents in coastal Maine by improving their access to education and training opportunities. Many of the region’s low-income residents require additional job training or education in order to move into better paying jobs. Unfortunately, although most of these people are working, after paying for living expenses, putting food on the table, and gas in the car, there is little money left over for going back to school. Making a donation to Coastal Counties Workforce, Inc. is a way to help make sure our training programs and services will continue to help those in need, find a pathway forward. For more information, please call (207)725-5472 and ask about the Workforce Scholarship Fund. Your contribution will be restricted to 100% use for customers in need. Gifts are fully tax-deductible.

Each year CCWI hosts an Annual Meeting/Brunch which provides members, guests and interested parties with a chance to learn what impact the CCWI organization and its partners have made in the Local Area during the past year.

Each year CCWI hosts an Annual Dinner or Luncheon which provides members, guests and interested parties with a chance to learn what impact the CCWI organization and its partners have made in the Local Area during the past year. We strive to keep the costs down for this event by seeking business and organization sponsors. Any funds collected in excess of Annual Dinner expenses are put toward the Workforce Scholarship Fund. Your contribution is tax deductible and appreciated. Suggested sponsorship amounts are: PLATINUM at $1,000 GOLD at $500 SILVER at $250 and BRONZE at $100.
